4th Edition of the Tour de KonstytucjaPL "The Strength of Youth – The Bridge of Generations"

We have started the 4th edition of the Tour de Konstytucja project. It differs from the previous ones as it is primarily aimed at young people and is dedicated to civic education conducted in intergenerational dialogue. Hence the name: "The Strength of Youth – The Bridge of Generations."

The 4th Edition focuses on educating of young people on civil society, the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. This year, we will also mark the 20th anniversary of Poland’s membership in the European Union while promoting the upcoming European Parliamentary elections.

We invite secondary schools and universities to participate in the project, and the workshops we offer aim to develop a sense of responsibility, critical thinking , relationship building, and debating skills. Our goal is to make the youth aware of their rights, help them understand the mechanisms for their protection, and, above all, their application in the everyday life.

The workshops are conducted using methods that ensure active engagement of the young people, and involve the participation of invited guests such as teachers, lawyers, cultural representatives, economists, and other specialists. Topics we address include the importance of the European community, climate, diversity, human rights, migration rights, consumer rights, and mental health.

We divided the 4th edition of Tour de Konstytucja into three stages. The first stage consists of educational workshops held in schools and universities. The second stage is our Tour with public events held throughout Poland, which we inaugurate every year on the 4th of June. The third stage is the Warsaw Congress (15-16 March 2024), summarizing our experiences so far.

We aim to activate young people because we believe that their voices and engagement are crucial for the future of our country. They have a huge potential, which, together with the experience of older generations, can lead to the significant change, which we already witnessed during the recent parliamentary elections.

We believe that these efforts will contribute to building a stronger civil society in which the voice of every individual is important and taken into account.

We invite you all to follow our project.
