§1 General Information

  1. The Administrator of personal information is the Congress of Civic Democratic Movements Foundation (KORD). The data is protected in accordance with the requirements of applicable law, and it is stored on secure servers.

  2. For the interpretation of terms, the glossary of the Regulations shall be used, or the Privacy Policy directly where the definition exists.

  3. For the purpose of the Privacy Policy, the term "User" has been replaced with the term "You," and "Administrator" with "We." The term "GDPR" refers to the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, of the 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and the repealing of directive 95/46/EC.

  4. We respect the right to privacy and ensure data security. To this end, a secure communication encryption protocol (SSL) is used, among other measures.

  5. Personal information provided in online forms is treated as confidential and is not visible to unauthorised persons.


§2 Data Administrator

Personal data is processed:

a) in accordance with the laws concerning the protection of personal data,
b) in accordance with the implemented Privacy Policy,
c) to the extent and for the purpose necessary to
fulfil legitimate interests (legally justified purposes), and the processing does not infringe the rights and freedoms of the data subject:

to the extent and for the purpose of your consent, if, for example, you have filled in a registration form.Every person whose data we process (if we are their administrator) has the right to access the data, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing, the right to object, and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.The person responsible for the processing of the personal data in the Administrator's organization can be contacted via email: kontakt@kord.org.pl

The Administrator has the right to disclose the user's personal data and other data to the authorised entities (e.g., law enforcement authorities) under the applicable laws.Personal data can be deleted upon withdrawing the consent or lodging a legally permissible objection to the processing of personal data. The Administrator does not disclose personal data to any other entities except those authorised under the applicable laws. Personal data is processed by persons authorised by us only.

§3 Cookies

The kord.org.pl website uses cookies. These are small text files sent by the web server and stored by the browser's computer software. When the browser reconnects to the site, the site recognizes the type of device from which the user connects. The parameters allow the server to read the information contained in them only to the server that created them. Therefore, cookies facilitate the use of previously visited websites.

The collected information includes the IP address, type of browser used, language, operating system type, internet service provider, information about the time and date, location, and information sent to the website through the contact form.

The collected data is used to monitor the behaviour on our websites with the purpose to improve the functioning of the service, providing a more efficient and seamless navigation experience. We use Google Analytics to record and monitor on-site behaviour.

Cookies identify the User, which allows for tailoring the content of the website to their needs.

We use the following types of cookies on our website:

a) "essential" cookies, enabling the use of the service

b) cookies used to ensure security, e.g., used to detect abuse in terms of accessing the service

c) "performance" cookies that enable the collection of information about the way the website is used

d) "functional" cookies that enable the "remembering" of user-selected settings and customisation of the user interface, such as the chosen language or region, font size, website appearance, etc.

Additional personal information, such as an email address, is only collected in places where the user explicitly gives consent by filling in a form. We keep and use the above data only for the originally intended purposes.
